Rehearsals Begin at Eurovision 2023

The 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest kicks off today with the first rehearsals taking place in Liverpool, United Kingdom. After a quarter-century hiatus from hosting the competition, the United Kingdom is back in the spotlight. The Liverpool Arena will be the stage for the first ten countries of Semi-Final One to rehearse. The countries slated to perform are:

  • 🇳🇴 Norway – Alessandra – “Queen of the Kings”
  • 🇲🇹 Malta – The Busker – “Dance (Our Own Party)”
  • 🇷🇸 Serbia – Luke Black – “Samo mi se spava”
  • 🇱🇻 Latvia – Sudden Lights – “Aijā”
  • 🇵🇹 Portugal – Mimicat – “Ai coração”
  • 🇮🇪 Ireland – Wild Youth – “We Are One”
  • 🇭🇷 Croatia – Let 3 – “Mama ŠČ!”
  • 🇨🇭 Switzerland – Remo Forrer – “Watergun”
  • 🇮🇱 Israel – Noa Kirel – “Unicorn”
  • 🇲🇩 Moldova – Pasha Parfeni – “Soarele și luna”
  • 🇸🇪 Sweden – Loreen – “Tattoo”

This year’s first rehearsals will not be open to the press. Instead, clips from the rehearsals will be available on TikTok, along with behind-the-scenes footage. TikTok will be the platform to catch glimpses of the initial performances, as well as exclusive content from behind the scenes.
